"Street Stories" - WPRI Channel 12

Hello, All -

Tonight at 6:15 pm on WPRI Channel 12, Walt Buteau and John Villella's "Street Stories" will air a follow-up story about the documentary.  Well, it will air as long as there is no major, breaking news.  Let's hope.  :-)

The Project IS Still Alive and Well...

Hello, All -

I am so very sorry for the long absence.  For those of you who are not aware, shortly after my last post, my father's health began to decline sharply and quickly.  After several months of serious illness, he was hospitalized 4 times in the last few months of last year.  During that time, I also went back to work full time.  I am thankful that my father was still here to know that I had full time work and health benefits again.  Pop died on January 9th.  Three weeks later, my mother became very ill with serious heart ailments.  Luckily, they were treatable and she is now on her way to recovery.  It's been a very tough road, but I'm a very tough broad, so we're back on track.  :-)

I worked with my producer, Mark Foley and my editor, Shawn Hare, this afternoon and evening.  We got a LOT of work done - made some very big decisions about what to use and what to lose.  We are hoping that our schedules will continue to work well together and that we can get a final cut completed by early Fall.

Our friends, Walt and Johnny, from Channel 12's "Street Stories" will be airing a follow up piece about the film probably this Friday at 6:15pm.  Will update on that when I get confirmation.

Thank you all for your patience, kindness and understanding.  It has been a rough haul, but we are closer now than we have been to getting the film completed.

With much appreciation,

Erin
